Introduction to the bottom model: Wang Baogen (1890-1954), named Xuzhai, born in Shushan, Yixing. It is one of the three treasures of purple sand experts during the Republic of China period (three treasures: Li Baozhen, Wang Baogen, and Chen Baosheng). In his early years, Wang Baogen studied art with his uncle and late Qing renowned master Wang Chunrong (born righteousness), and became fellow brothers with the master of pot art Wu Yungen and Zhu Kexin. After graduation, he worked as a technician at Yixing Wudesheng Company and Shanghai Tiehuaxuan Company. In 1935, he made the Great Dongpo Pot and the Three Friends Bottle, and participated in the Chicago Exposition in the United States and won an honor award
