During the Republic of China, Shen Xiaolu also made pots for Mao Shunxing, a famous Zisha shop in Yixing, together with famous experts such as Wu yungen, Zhu Kexin, Wang Yinchun and Chen Baosheng. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Shen Xiaolu joined the Shushan pottery cooperative to make pots. After 1960, due to his poor health, he often did some inspection work for Zisha factory.
