In November 1956, I was admitted to the purple sand workshop to learn the purple sand craft, and successively studied under Wu Yungen, Zhu Kexin, Pei Shimin, Jiang Rong, and others. In 1973, he joined the Purple Sand Factory Research Institute and specialized in the modeling design of purple sand pottery. In September 1975, he participated in the "Jiangsu Daily Use Ceramic Art Design Training Course" organized by the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. In 1998, he officially retired from the Purple Sand Craft Factory. In 2007, Wang Yinxian was selected as one of the first batch of "Representative Inheritors of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Projects". The selected project was Yixing Zisha Pottery Making Skills. In February 2012, he participated in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Achievement Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture and other ministries and commissions of the People's Republic of China.
