Plane Prototype History:
The J-15 Is A Single Seat Twin Engine Carrier Based Fighter Jet Developed By China Based On The Domestically Produced J-11 Fighter Jet T-10k-3, Which Was Obtained From Ukraine As A Reference For The Su-33 Fighter Jet Prototype. The J-15 Made Its Maiden Flight On August 31, 2009. The J-15 Belongs To The Fourth Generation Fighter Jet Improvement Type In Terms Of Generation Division, Namely The Fourth Generation Semi Fighter Jet. The J-15 Is Very Similar In Appearance To The Russian Made Su-33, But It Incorporates Technology From The J-11B. On The Basis Of The J-11, The Addition Of Duckwings And The Installation Of Two High-Power Engines Have Enabled The Folding Of The Wings. New Systems Such As Lift Devices, Landing Gear, And Arresting Hooks Have Been Designed, Enabling The Aircraft To Achieve The Required Flight Characteristics For Landing While Maintaining Excellent Combat Performance Conditions.
