The France 5 Franc Silver Hercules Coin pays tribute to one of Greek mythology's highest regarded heroes. Hercules was the offspring of the Greek god Zeus and the mortal Alcmene. Best known for his strength, Hercules' muscle surpassed that of many gods. As a mortal himself, this was quite a feat.
