Plane Prototype History:
The Fw-200 Was An All Metal Four Engine Monoplane Developed By Fokker Wolfe In Nazi Germany. Originally Used As A Passenger Aircraft, It Was Later Utilized By The Air Force As A Long-Range Reconnaissance Plane, Naval Bomber, And Transport Aircraft After The Outbreak Of World War II. Due To Its Outstanding Performance In The Battle Of The Atlantic Between Germany And Britain, Which Severely Damaged British Transport Ships And Resulted In A Lack Of Resources For The British Army, They Were Unable To Fight Against The German Army. Winston Churchill Referred To It As The 'Scourge Of The Atlantic'. This Is A Simple Designed Aircraft, A Single Wing Aircraft With An All Metal Structure And 4 Engines, Capable Of Carrying 25 Passengers And Covering A Range Of 3000 Kilometers. In Order To Meet Wartime Needs, The German Air Force Strengthened Its Structural Components, Elongated Its Wings To Carry Bombs, Increased The Internal Space Of The Aircraft, And Added Machine Guns At The Front, Back, And Sides. The Above Additional Modifications Caused The Fw-200 To Have The Problem Of Disintegration During Landing In The Early Stages, Which Was Not Completely Resolved Until The End. The Later Prototype Is Also Equipped With Radar In The Mid-1930s, The German For Fokker Wolfe Aircraft Company Developed The Fw-200 Four Engine Large Aircraft. Its Modified Fw-200b, As A 26 Seat Medium To Long Range Passenger Plane, Was Put Into Civil Aviation Operation By Lufthansa And Danish Airlines, While The Fw-200c Was The True Long-Range Sea Patrol Bomber, Nicknamed The "Bald Eagle". The First Aircraft Of Fw-200c Was Tested In 1939, Mainly Used For Escorting Maritime Transport Fleets And Cooperating With German Submarines To Attack Enemy Surface Ships. A Total Of 263 Aircraft Were Produced And Frequently Used From 1941 To The Summer Of 1944. Some Fw-200Cs Were Also Put Into Operation On The Eastern Front Against The Soviet Union. The Fw-200c Bombard And Sink 363000 Tons Of Allied Ships In The Atlantic From August 1940 To February 1941 Alone. Starting From 1941, Due To Insufficient Aircraft And High Single Unit Costs, The Number Of Combat Patrols Was Reduced For Some Reasons. The Specific Reason For Withdrawal Was The Strengthening Of The British RAF Air Patrol Force
