How do you choose the best matcha powder?
1. Ceremonial grade matcha is the highest grade. Other matcha is classified as culinary matcha, which is a lower grade.
2. High grade matcha should be a bright, vibrant green that is almost fluorescent.
3. High grade Japanese matcha is costly to produce and import. If the price is too cheap, it is probably not a premium product
4. It should produce tea with a very good consistency
5. It must be pure and should not include any fillers, additives, added colour or flavours
