Paeonia lactiflora, the name of traditional Chinese medicine. It is the dry root of Paeonia tacti Lora Pall., a plant of Ranunculaceae. In summer and autumn, dig, wash, remove head, tail and root, boil in boiling water, remove skin or peel, then boil and dry. It has the functions of nourishing blood and regulating menstruation, astringent Yin and relieving sweat, soothing liver and relieving pain, and smoothing liver-yang. Often used for blood deficiency, yellow, irregular menstruation, spontaneous sweating, night sweating, hypochondriac pain, abdominal pain, limb cramps, headache and dizziness.

Summary
