Wuyishan loose oolong, known as the "Big Red Robe", produced by the monks of Tian Xin Yong Le Chan Si Monastery.
This is Da Hong Pao from its original source - Tian Xin Yong Le Chan Si monastery (which means in translation: "The Chan Monastery of the Heaven's Will and Eternal Joy"), where the technology of this tea production were invented. Not far from the temple - on its plantations, you can find maternal bushes of the same name (that is, those that have retained all the signs of the original sort). The monks of the temple carefully follow the original technology and manage the correct selection of bushes. Therefore, only such a Da Hong Pao in China can be presented as a gift to the first persons - this is more than just tea: it contains the history of the sort itself and its taste, remaining the same as it existed when it was delivered to the imperial court! This is the most essential thing!
Name of the sort contains a hint to the Buddhist practices associated with fumigation of incenses. This is a reference to the allegory "Bodhisattva covered with a fragrant cloud", the meaning of which is that during the rituals, the smoke of incenses rises and forms a cover alike a cloud over the statues.
Medium roasted, which gives the tea a floral aroma and flavor.
