Introduction to the bottom payment: Wang Baogen (1890-1954), Xu Zhai, a native of Shushan, Yixing. It is one of the three treasures of purple clay experts in the Republic of China (three treasures: Li Baozhen, Wang Baogen, Chen Baosheng). In his early years, Wang Baogen studied art with his uncle Wang Chunrong, a famous master in the late Qing Dynasty (born righteousness), and was a fellow martial brother with the pot master Wu Yungen and Zhu Kexin. After graduation, he worked as a technician in Yixing Wudesheng Company and Shanghai Tiehuaxuan Company. In 1935, he made Dadongpo Pot and Sanyou Bottle, participated in the Chicago Exposition and won the first prize.
