He is the representative inheritor of Yixing purple clay pottery making skills, the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage projects in China. [1][3] In November 1956, he was admitted to the purple sand workshop to learn the purple sand craft, and successively studied under Wu yungen, Zhu Kexin, Pei Shimin, Jiang Rong and others. In 1973, he entered the Research Institute of Zisha factory, specializing in the modeling design of Zisha pottery. In September 1975, he participated in the "Jiangsu daily ceramic art design training class" organized by the Central Academy of Arts and crafts. In 1998, he officially retired from Zisha craft factory. In 2007, Wang Yinxian was selected into the first batch of representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage projects, and the selected project was Yixing purple clay pottery making skills. In February 2012, he participated in the national intangible cultural heritage protection achievements exhibition held by the Ministry of culture of the people's Republic of China and other ministries and commissions. At 9:28 on February 28, 2018, Wang Yinxian died. |
