He was born in Shushan, Yixing, Jiangsu in 1954. He grew up drinking the Li River and was exposed to purple sand industry since childhood. In 1972, when he entered Jiangsu Yixing Purple Clay Craft Factory, the enlightenment master was Mr. Lv Yaochen, the current master of pot art. He was deeply appreciated by Gu Jingzhou, the master of pot art of a generation of masters, and was able to enter the house to learn from his master. In 1983, he participated in the modeling design training class of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, majoring in ceramic modeling design. He learned to apply what he learned, and benefited a lot. After 30 years of dedicated research, he studied hard, and his craft was rigorous and meticulous.
