Introduction to the bottom payment: Fan Dasheng (1874-1942), with the character of "Shengwu" and the name of "Chengfu", lives in Yixing Dingshu Xiwangwu Village. Learning from the famous purple clay expert Fan Dingfu, he is good at making pots such as "Heling", "Hetao", "Bamboo Drum", and "Fish Transforming Dragon". His works are vivid and interesting, and he enjoys the reputation of "a thousand gold is easy to get, but a big pot is hard to get". He was once employed by Yixing Liyong Ceramics Co., Ltd., Wu Desheng Ceramics Co., Ltd., Shanghai Tiehuaxuan Ceramics Co., Ltd. and other pottery companies to make pots. It is worth mentioning that his elaborate large-scale pottery sculpture "Eagle" won the gold medal at the London Art Fair in 1935.
