In 1956, he was admitted to the purple sand workshop to learn the purple sand craft, and successively studied from Wu Yungen, Zhu Kexin, Pei Shimin, Jiang Rong and others. In 1966, it was renamed "Wang Chaoyang". In 1973, he entered the purple sand factory research institute and specialized in the modeling design of purple sand pottery. In September 1975, he participated in the "Jiangsu Daily Ceramic Art Design Training Course" organized by the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. In 1979, the name was changed back to Wang Yinxian. In 1998, he officially retired from the purple sand craft factory.
