Introduction to the bottom model: Gu Jingzhou (1915-1996), originally named Jingzhou. Alternative names: Manxi, Shouping, Wuling Yiren, Jingnan Shanqiao. I call myself Hu Old and Lao Ping. Yixing purple clay famous artist, member of China Artists Association, and master of Chinese arts and crafts. At the age of 18, he studied under a famous teacher. In the late 1930s, he went to Shanghai to make antique pots. In 1954, he entered the Yixing Shushan Ceramic Industry Cooperative. In 1956, he was appointed as a technical advisor by the Jiangsu Provincial Government, leading apprentices such as Xu Hantang, Gao Haigeng, Li Changhong, Shen Juhua, Shu Fengying, Wu Qunxiang, and others. I have participated in the National Arts and Crafts Congress three times in my life, and have had a significant impact in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. I am known as the "master of pot art" at home and abroad, and my works are collected by major museums and cultural relics museums at home and abroad.
