He Kai tea garden is the largest tea garden of ancient trees in the world, famous for growing the "King of Tea Trees" which is around 1400 years old.
The tea leaves used to make this sheng puerh are from trees around 200-300 years old and grown in the central zone of the He Kai tea garden. Overall, He Kai sheng puerh tea is a wonderful representation of the rich heritage and exquisite taste of Chinese tea.
The flavor profile is slightly less complex compared to tea made from leaves of ancient trees, but still very good with apricot and floral notes, as well as a light sweet aftertaste. The taste is smooth and mellow, with a gentle bitterness that is balanced by a pleasant sweetness.
