Overview
The DJI Power 1.8kW Super Fast Charger XT90 to MC4 Adapter Cable is designed to extend the functionality of the DJI Power 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger. It converts the charger’s XT90 Car/Solar Charging Port into an MC4 connector, allowing you to connect external MC4-compatible solar panels.
When used alongside the Super Fast Charger’s built-in MC4 solar panel cable, this adapter unlocks a maximum total solar input power of up to 1800 W, making it ideal for rapid recharging in off-grid or mobile power scenarios.
Key Features
- XT90 to MC4 Conversion – Seamlessly adapts the XT90 port to standard MC4 connectors for solar panel compatibility.
- High-Power Solar Input – Enables a combined solar input of up to 1800 W when paired with the charger’s built-in MC4 cable.
- Durable Construction – Built to withstand outdoor use with reliable electrical connections.
- Easy Installation – Includes M2.5 hex socket screws for secure mounting.
- Versatile Charging – Supports both car and solar charging configurations for flexible power solutions.
️ Technical Specifications
Usage Tips
- Solar Panel Connection Limits – When connecting to solar panels via the Car/Solar Charging Port, ensure the maximum input voltage does not exceed 45 V and the maximum power stays within 600 W. Properly configure solar panels in series or parallel to stay within these limits.
- Max Recharging Power with DJI Power 1000 – To achieve the full 1800 W recharging power with the DJI Power 1000, connect it to a DJI Power Expansion Battery 2000.
- Secure Connections – Use the provided M2.5 hex socket screws to firmly attach the adapter cable, preventing disconnection during operation.
- Cable Management – Keep cables organized and away from sharp edges or moving parts to avoid wear and tear.
️ Important Notes
- Voltage & Power Limits – Exceeding the 45 V / 600 W limit on the Car/Solar Charging Port may damage the charger or void warranty.
- MC4 Compatibility – Ensure your solar panels have compatible MC4 connectors before use.
- Adapter Functionality – This cable only converts the port type; it does not increase the power handling capacity beyond the charger’s specifications.
- Outdoor Use – While designed for outdoor conditions, avoid prolonged exposure to extreme weather to prolong cable life.
- Warranty – Damage caused by improper installation, overvoltage, or incompatible equipment is not covered.
