Pair the remote control:
Press and hold the Home button for about 8-30 seconds until the LED starts to flash amber quickly, and then the remote control should automatically pair with your device.

Reset the remote control:
Place the remote control within 10 feet of the Fire TV device.
1. Press the left, menu and back buttons at the same time and hold for 10 seconds.
2. Wait for 60 seconds.
3. Remove the battery from the remote, unplug the Fire TV device, and wait 60 seconds
4. Re-plug the Fire TV device and wait for the home screen to display
5. Press and hold the home button on the remote control for 40 seconds, and then wait for 60 seconds to complete the setting.

Remark: A replacement remote control units and will work as well as the originals.No programming or setup required.
