Experimenting with GABA tea production technology, we've created a unique product: GABA shu puer. To confidently affirm the success to our customers, we submitted samples of our tea to an independent, government-accredited laboratory on the island of Taiwan. The test result revealed an 182 mg per 100 grams of GABA content. Remarkably, we were informed that our GABA shu puer is the first of its kind in China that has successfully undergone testing within the country — a significant achievement for our company!
The selection of the right raw material is crucial for achieving both optimal GABA content and flavor characteristics. For our GABA shu puer, we chose leaves harvested from ancient tea trees of the Gu Shu category, aged 100 years and above, in the Menghai region. This careful selection ensures the exceptional quality and unique taste profile of our GABA tea!
In terms of taste, you can discern a note, as we call it in China, of camphor wood, with a subtle sweet undertone of dates and refreshing hints characteristic of GABA tea. This tea not only meets high standards but also introduces a unique flavor profile, making it a distinctive and memorable choice for tea enthusiasts.
