[Introduction to the bottom payment] Gu Jingzhou (1915-1996), formerly known as Jingzhou. Nicknames: Manxi, Leoping, Wuling Yiren, Jingnan Mountain Woodcutter. He called himself Hu Lao and Lao Ping. Yixing Zisha famous artist, member of China Artists Association, and master of Chinese arts and crafts. At the age of 18, he learned from a famous teacher. From the late 1930s to Shanghai, pots were made to imitate the ancient style. In 1954, he entered Yixing Shushan Ceramic Cooperative. In 1956, he was appointed as a technical tutor by Jiangsu Provincial Government, and led by Xu Hantang, Gao Haigeng, Li Changhong, Shen Cunhua, Shu Fengying, Wu Qunxiang and others. He has participated in the National Arts and Crafts Congress three times in his life, and has a great influence in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. He is known as the "master of pot art" at home and abroad. His works are collected by major museums and cultural relics museums at home and abroad
