Oolong tea tawian red oolong HONG WU LONG 250g

Tawianese  oolong tea "HONG WU LONG" (Red Oolong)  from Taiwan province (price per 250 g)

This sort has appeared recently, but already gained a lot of fans, both on the island itself so as far beyond its limits. Due to the deep level of fermentation it might be considered as an intermediate link between black and oolong tea.

In appearance it's a small dark colored pearles, exude a sweetish baked-fruity flavor.

Taste: medium intensity, calm, floral and honey, slightly astringent and oily, may remind Lao Te Guanin (if you have tried it you may compare and find a lot of common).
