Ru kiln porcelain is the first of the five famous porcelain in the Song Dynasty. The kiln is located in Qingliangsi village, Baofeng County, Henan Province (now Ruzhou). Linru belonged to Ruzhou in Song Dynasty, so it was named Ru kiln. So far, no real kiln site of Ru kiln has been found, and only porcelain has been handed down. Ru porcelain was first fired in the middle of the Tang Dynasty and became famous in the Northern Song Dynasty. It occupies a significant position in China's ceramic history. In the late Northern Song Dynasty, Ru kiln specially fired imperial porcelain for the court, namely "Ru official porcelain", which is referred to as Ru porcelain for short. Ru porcelain was fired from the first year of the reign of emperor zhezong of the Song Dynasty to the fifth year of Chongning of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty (1086-1106). The porcelain firing time is short, only 20 years from zhe Zong to Hui Zong in the Northern Song Dynasty, so it is one of the most famous kilns in the Song Dynasty. Later, it was lost due to the war in the song and Jin Dynasties. Ru porcelain was "especially rare" in the Southern Song Dynasty. There are only more than 60 handed down items in the world. It is collected by the Palace Museum in Beijing and museums in Taipei, Shanghai, Britain and Japan. It is recognized as a rare treasure all over the world

Ru kiln mainly inherited the celadon glaze color of Yue Kiln in the south. At the same time, it absorbed the printing technology of Ding kiln and created a special style of printed celadon. Its egg white, azure, blue and shrimp green often contain yellow, as well as verdant and azure, especially azure, pink and blue. In terms of decoration, Ru porcelain gives full play to the traditional techniques of Sui and Tang Dynasties, such as underglaze carving, rowing, stacking, pasting and so on.
