Product Overview

The SmallRig Nikon Z9 Full-Wrap Cage (3195) is a professional protective frame designed for the flagship Nikon Z9.

Unlike half cages, this full-wrap design envelops the camera body, providing maximum structural support and protection against impacts. It secures to the camera via a three-point locking system (bottom 1/4" screw, locating pin, and right-side strap hole) to prevent twisting. The cage maintains full access to buttons, ports, battery, and the flip screen, while offering a vast array of mounting points for professional video production.

Usage Tips

• Installation: Remove the right-side triangular strap ring from the camera before installing the cage.

• Handle Setup: Use the top ARRI holes to mount a monitor (2903) and the side holes for a side handle (2093) for stable handheld shots.

• Rod System: Attach the double rod clamp (942) to the front bottom holes to add 15mm rods (1052) for a follow focus (3010) or lens support.

• Tool Access: The magnetic wrench is stored inside the cage; ensure it stays in place during transport.
