The SmallRig L-Shape Mount Plate for Nikon Z 6III 4523 is purpose-built to enable fast switching between landscape and portrait orientations while improving camera handling and accessory flexibility. Its dual Arca-Swiss quick release plates (base and side) let you reconfigure your setup instantly without removing the camera from your support system.

Stability is guaranteed by a three-point locking system: a 1/4"-20 screw at the base, a locating block, and the camera’s left shoulder strap ring. This combination eliminates twisting and ensures rock-solid security, especially critical in vertical shooting. Integrated silicone pads protect the camera body from scratches.

The locating block with built-in cold shoe provides secondary support to keep the cage stable and prevent side plate deformation when extended. This design allows secure mounting of accessories like microphones, LED lights, and transmitters directly onto the plate.

The side plate extends by 22.5 mm (0.9 in), creating ample room for HDMI/USB cable routing in portrait orientation, reducing strain on connectors.

The base integrates an Arca-Swiss quick release plate, making it compatible with Arca tripods and DJI gimbals for quick setup changes. Additional 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the bottom allow attachment of side handles for comfortable handheld vertical shooting, as well as tripod mounts.
