Sheng puer tea “XIA GUAN TUO CHA”, in a shape of nest (tuo cha), weight 100g by Xia Guan factory. Produced in 2014 year.

The quality is already visible by the packaging - crisp, dense, parchment-like wrapping paper. And even without opening the package, you can smell an amazing smell reminiscent of dried apricots! Pressing is quite tight - take care of your fingers, take your time, breaking off a piece for brewing!

Tea raw is a medium-sized leaves, with a large number of tea buds and a certain number of stems (as it should be according to the recipe). Taste is resinous, a little smoky, unobtrusive - something between the average sheng and green tea. If there is bitterness here, then it’s very small, unobtrusive and it quickly disappears turning into a pleasant “tea” aftertaste.

Then you may feel the pleasant and lasting for a long time shade of dried fruits, which is quite usual for sheng. Xia Guan tea really can be put in a separate row - it is not like puer from other factories and has its own signature "sound" which allows to distinguish it.
